A mother identified as Mrs. Celestine, reportedly assaulted and broke her son’s head all because he refused eating ‘fufu’ (a cassava meal).

The mother assaulted and broke her son’s head at their home in Ijeshatedo area in Surulere, Lagos, and according to eyewitnesses, she was stopped from further beating up the boy by her neighbours.

It was further gathered that the the woman always laid out her frustration on her children, and her son who confirmed that he and his siblings usually suffered physical abuses from their mother, however, pleaded that she should not be arrested.

Facebook user Remilekun Atanda who shared the story wrote;

The neighbours who alleged that there was a night the lady brutalized one of her children until he bled from ears, reported the incident to the police and Mrs. Celestine was arrested, cautioned and released.
