
A Russian hockey team has caused an outrage after they posted a naked image of their player as part of an injury announcement.
The club, HC Spartak Moscow are being slammed online for using the controversial image to break the news of 'leader' Yulia Ushakova's ankle sprain injury. The picture, which showed Ushakova lying on a treatment table while wearing only a thong, have seen many blasting the club on Twitter.

Barca Women, an unofficial account, quote tweeted the original post with the terse caption: 'This is how Spartak Moscow announced an ankle injury to attacker, Julia Ushakova.
One reply read: 'This is so wrong (considering the current challenges), and I mainly blame her.'
