Wole Soyinka wants to “launch a publication to expose” Obasanjo July 3rd

While responding to a question from a participant at the gala and award ceremony of the International Press Institute (IPI) in Abuja, Wole Soyinkarevealed that he’s planning to launch a publication to expose former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo on July 3.

According to TheCable, the Nobel laureate said:  “Obasanjo is the most hypocritical leader this nation has ever produced. Obasanjo has crossed the red line… I will launch a publication to expose him at Freedom Park in Lagos on July 3.”

The duo have always been at loggerheads and this is one of the numerous instances Soyinka has called Obasanjo a hypocrite. Obasanjo has also describe Soyinka as a hunter rather than a political critic.
