Friday, August 11, declared FREE DATA DAY on Glo network

In demonstration of the company’s commitment towards giving more value to its subscribers, total telecommunications solutions provider, Globacom, has declared Friday, 11th August, 2017 as the first FREE DATA DAY on the Glo network.
Thus, subscribers who use 100MB plus N150 on voice calls OR N250 on voice calls between Friday, 4th to Thursday 10th August from any or a combination of methods such as Pay as you use, purchase of data plan and usage from existing data plan will enjoy a FULL DAY of FREE browsing, chatting, streaming, downloading, uploading and lots more on the 11th of August.

It will be recalled that Free Data Day was unveiled recently by Globacom to give all-round comfort to the company’s subscribers and other Nigerians.
The company announced at the launch that the offer which is open to all prepaid subscribers gives Glo customers’ free data for one whole day when they meet the voice and/or data usage threshold within seven days which will qualify them to enjoy the Free Data Day.

Globacom said that the new product gives opportunity to subscribers on the Glo network to do so much more on the internet by browsing free of charge for a whole day.
“We appreciate the essence of the internet in contemporary world. We are through this product empowering our customers in an unprecedented way in their business, social and educational pursuits”, he stated.

Globacom further explained that customers would be notified when they have qualified for the Free Data Day and that they do not need to dial any code to opt in or subscribe to any platform before enjoying the benefits.

“When a customer qualifies for the offering, he would be able to enjoy free data usage anytime that day, and the fair usage policy will be applicable. This unique initiative is first in Nigeria and unveils a new level of freedom to use data. Now the customers can enjoy this free data on the world class new 4G LTE network of Glo,” he said
The company disclosed that in line with its promise to change the face of telecoms services in Nigeria, the Globacom network had been reinvigorated to provide stronger data and voice services to its subscribers.

Globacom also assured subscribers that it had enhanced the quality of its network to accommodate the anticipated traffic that the exciting product would add.
