After few minutes, Wizkid whispered to one of the crewmen he arrived with and they had an exchange of seat as he made his guy sit close to the lady

Wizkid Goes Clubbing With Davido’s Babymama

Starboy Wizkid and Sophie Momodu recently hung out at a club and this has triggered rumours that the duo may be dating. From the clip which recently surfaced on social media, the Ojuelegba singer is seen whispering into the ear of the mum of one, and this comes just days after his girlfriend, the American singer Justine Skye, tweeted about being heartbroken, leading to presumptions that her relationship with the Nigerian singer had ended. Now, with Wizkid hanging out with Sophie Momodu, plus whispering into her ears, folks think that it is all the indication they need to confirm a relationship, because why would the singer be whispering in her ears, right? “Where does she think she is? The girl is far from smart. She doesn’t even need this kind of publicity,”one pained Instagrammer @uyee_bante said, and another, @mmavour, added, “I wonder what he whispered in her ears.”

When it got to Davido's part, he proceeded to sing "Dele na my boy" angering the publisher.

Seems like the beef between Dele Momodu and Davido is far from over.
On Monday, December 26, 2016, Davido was a performer at Olamide's OLIC where he proceeded to perform alongside Falz and Olamide. The trio were belting out their hit song 'Bad, Baddo, Baddest'. When it got to Davido's part, he proceeded to sing "Dele na my boy" angering the publisher. Dele could be seen walking out of the venue.
The dispute between both parties started in December 2015 when the 23-year-old artiste disagreed with Sophia, his baby mama, who is Momodu’s cousin. Sophia foiled an attempt by Davido to take his daughter to Dubai without her consent, and this led to a spat. Davido later apologised for his actions, saying Momodu could have handled the matter in a better manner. But he was not done. First Davido created the evergreen line on Humblesmith’s breakout single – ‘Osinachi’ » – which was hugely instrumental to the success of the singer.
Davido’s opening reads like this: “My humble father sinachi, My loving daughter sinachi mo, My baby mama sinachi, Dele Momodu, sinachi mo. No be by force to go dubai, Abi na wetin cause the fight…”
But Davido was not done. In his next verse which he supplied for Falz’s ‘Bahd, Baddo, Baddest” » , he came through with the killer line of them all: “ Mr Dele na my boy Dele na my boy. ” Every concert Davido, Falz or Olamide perform that song, the brightest moment of the song becomes “Dele na my boy…” fans look forward to it, giving it an edge over all the others.

Wenger slams Chelsea – loan style system

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has said one of football’s “big problems,”,is the system used by clubs like Chelsea, to stockpile many young players and repeatedly loan them out. Hide quoted text The Blues currently have 30 players out on loan. “It is one of the big problems in the modern game,” Wenger told Arsenal’s official magazine. “You’ve invested a lot of money into players because we’re paying more and more money, and then at the age of 20 you don’t usually get much money for any of the players, so the reflex is to stockpile the players. That’s not right. “When you look at the number of loans that happen here and there, the whole system has to be thought about again because we have two kinds of solution in there. “The first is to continue developing players, the second step is just to make sure your investment is safe – that’s not the right way to think about it but it’s the natural reflex for the clubs.” Wenger suggested the solution is for smaller sides to be part-owned by Premier League teams and used as feeder clubs. “Maybe you could create a possibility for some clubs to own part of a League One club as a feeder club,” he added. “After that, a limitation on the number of players on your books could work. “The way a youth team is organised now is that all the best young players go to the richest clubs, which is where they have fewer chances to develop, so you have to make sure the system shares out the best young players equally. “It’s difficult because the development of the players depends on the concentration of the good players. The more good players you have together, the more chance they have of becoming even better players.”

Facebook has today denied the false crisis notification, the so-called Safety Check, for a Bangkok explosion the previous day, was made in error. The company cited Thai media reports of a man threatening to attack Government House with explosives on Tuesday for triggering the Safety Check, where users mark themselves as “safe” to reassure friends and family, nan reports. “There was no false alarm, the event happened and Safety Check worked as it should,’’ a Facebook representative told the media. The representative confirmed that the crisis notification was active from 1 pm (0600 GMT) on Tuesday for nine hours. However users only reported receiving the notification from approximately 9 pm onward before it was turned off about an hour later. Facebook denied reports in the Thai media that the Safety Check was triggered due to a BBC article posted in 2015 on a Bangkok bombing that was picked up by MSN news bot. The BBC article was published on Aug. 17, 2015, and reported on a real bombing that killed 20 people at the Erawan Shrine in Bangkok. On Tuesday, a 44-year-old contractor climbed on top of the main building of Government House and threatened to activate ping pong bombs if the government refused to give him financial compensation for a failed construction project. The man managed to throw firecrackers off the roof, but they did not cause any injuries. The officials convinced the man to climb down from the roof after several hours of negotiation. Report says the Paris terrorist attacks of November 2015 were the first time Facebook’s Safety Check was activated for an event other than a natural disaster.

Davido’s female fan cries passionately in front of him as she tries to hold him tight

Crazy world indeed! Did a female fan just cry most passionately for Davido? For all we know, stuff like that only happened when the late world star Michael Jackson was on stage rocking the mic. We say his fans crying and fainting and even dying. Nigerian comedians made a joke of it, saying such things are only possible in the white man’s land, stating how P-Square have tried to achieve the same thing for the past 10 years but to no avail. The best we see in Nigeria is female fans clustering and violently attempting to come in physical contact with Nigerian celebrities. At most, they pull their tops and bras and show off their assets to the singers. But now, it’s like the Michael Jackson era is fast sliding into the Nigerian music industry, as a recent showdown involving Davido and one of his female fans goes a long way to prove the possibility. A short video online revealed Davido and his boys in a mall. A female fan spotted him and started crying emotionally on seeing Davido while advancing towards him to touch and possibly hug him. But Davido stylishly avoided her and hid behind boys, who were busy consoling the lady. But she wouldn’t stop crying and saying she loves Davido. Nawa o!

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national caretaker committee has described the defeat of the Boko Haram by chasing them out of the Sambisa forest as a great milestone in the fight against insurgency in the country. In a statement signed by its spokesman, Dayo Adeyeye, the party, however, noted that the success resulted from the strong foundation laid by the Goodluck Jonathan administration. The statement pointed out that the boost recorded by the war against insurgents was what made it possible for the 2015 general elections to hold in those war-ravaged parts of the North Eastern parts of the country. The PDP also stated that the clearing of the Sambisa forest is a critical milestone but not the end of the war against the insurgency. It urged the Federal Government and the military to not rest on their oars until the entire North East is rid completely of them.” “Beyond Sambisa all the other forests which criminals used as hideouts and bases must equally be cleared by the military. Forests such as Birnin Gwari, Zamfara, Southern Kaduna, Enugu and Benue have become killing fields. They must all be cleared of criminal elements.” The statement added. The opposition party said: “We congratulate Nigerians for this important milestone in the long and bitter struggle against the forces of evil that have wreaked so much suffering and hardship on our people in the last few years. “We also congratulate the President for his dogged pursuit of the war against the insurgency. We are happy that he has built on the efforts of his predecessors. Whatever we are witnessing now is as a result of all the efforts and sacrifices of the past and present. “Nigerians and the international community will recall that the war effort received a major boost in the weeks leading up to the 2015 general elections. The insurgents were virtually annihilated – a feat that made it possible for elections to hold peacefully in almost all the Local Government Areas of all the states in the North East last year. We are therefore very much delighted with the continuation of this great effort by the President.” It continued: “We salute the men and women of our beloved armed forces. Their courage, determination and sacrifice made this achievement possible. The men and women of the Nigerian armed forces have served and continue to serve with distinction in many peacekeeping operations all over the world. We salute them for fighting with great courage to keep the peace in their own Country. “We also thank the international community for their support and encouragement particularly, those countries that have helped in the procurement of critical military hardware.”

Wenger salutes ‘fighter’ Giroud

Wenger salutes ‘fighter’ Giroud

11:44 Add Comment
Arsene Wenger hailed Olivier Giroud's fighting spirit after the Arsenal striker marked his first Premier League start of the season with the winning goal against West Bromwich Albion. Giroud headed home four minutes from the end of a game that had seemed destined to finish goalless at the Emirates Stadium. Before Monday's 1-0 victory, Giroud had come off the bench 10 times in Premier League games this season and scored three goals, making his only club starts in the Champions League. But Gunners boss Wenger insisted that Giroud had not had anything to prove to him despite his repeated absence from the starting line-up. "He always makes a point when he comes on because he has scored many times when he comes in," Wenger said. "He has qualities in our squad that are needed and that the other players have not. He's a fighter too, Olivier, and has a fantastic mentality. "It has been frustrating for him because he didn't always play but I think we have an honest relationship. "I have big respect for him and he knows that he was not always playing but despite that he kept a strong motivation level. "Part of the job of a player is to be always ready, the players who are always ready will be there and the players who feel sorry for themselves get their chance and they give you one more reason to justify why you didn’t select them. The fighters are always ready." Giroud has been kept on the bench by the fine form of Chile forward Alexis Sanchez and just as he finally gets a chance to make his mark, he may also have to compete with fit-again forward Danny Welbeck. - 'Right decisions' - "We are competing and I think if I only have one striker everybody says: 'What are you doing?'" Wenger said. "We need two or three strikers and we have Welbeck coming back so most of the time we have to make the decision depending on our opponent. "Like today I knew they would play deep, and in the air Giroud could be the solution so I have to make the right decisions. "We kept going and in the end when we couldn't make a difference on the ground we made it in the air with maybe the only player in our team who can do that." Despite being left frustrated by Giroud's late intervention, which came after his physical challenge on Albion defender Gareth McAuley, Baggies boss Tony Pulis agreed with Wenger's assessment of the striker's qualities. "Gareth has got pinned by Giroud and you can't allow him to do that because he's such a strong player," he said. "He is excellent in the air and is untypical of what Arsene wants in lots of respects, but he has won them three points today." The fact that Wenger is able to use an established international so sparingly is one reason why Pulis regards Arsenal as potentially strong challengers to leaders Chelsea in the second half of the season. Albion have lost 1-0 to both teams in successive away matches and Pulis believes Chelsea will have to spend during the January transfer window to match Arsenal's depth. "If you look at the players who were not playing and not in the team today, and then you look at Chelsea's, I think Arsenal have definitely got the stronger squad," Pulis said. "So they have most probably got the staying power to see them through and it will be interesting to see what Chelsea do. "I think Chelsea will spend. I don't think your man (owner Roman Abramovich) will sit back on what he's got, I think he will invest. So it will be an interesting window for the top four or five clubs."

"Nigerian women have no game", or say they on Twitter

11:35 Add Comment
According to the guys on Nigerian Twitter, women's attempts at wooing them is hilarious and almost pitiable. Do women have game? Or specifically, do Nigerian women have game? You know the kind of game we are talking about. ' Game', a collection of moves, lines, gestures and other non-verbal cues you use to woo the opposite sex. In the supposedly normal equation of things, men are the ones who have game because they do all the chasing and toasting according to society's standards and all. However, within the last decade, men are not big on chasing women anymore. There has been a shift of some sorts. Walt Disney taught us if you go to a lady and say the right words she would fall into your arms. No one believes these fairy tales anymore. With the alarming rise of friend zone tactics, the adoration of the anti-hero good guy/bad guy (e.g Chris Brown) and women soaking up a suitor's attention without giving anything in return, men of today no longer have time for fun and games. A lot of guys these days stop the chase early on when they notice the babe they are trying to toast is acting aloof or not giving them the green light. These men are okay with moving on to the next babe that catches their eye. Now comes the situation where Nigerian women have to step up to the plate and make the first move. With the rise of feminism and the fluidity of gender roles, it really is no big deal if a babe starts toasting you. Well according to the menfolk on Twitter, not a lot of women have game. This morning, Tuesday, December 27, 2016, a lot of guys have been tweeting about the wack game a lot of women possess. What started off as bants early on has blown into a discussion about toasting, why women have to make the first move, expectations and that dreaded p-word patriarchy. With all that has been written do you feel that it is time for Nigerian women to step their game up or should Nigerian men do better when approaching women?

The tweets tagged Britney Spears’ Twitter account, introduced the hashtag #RIPBritney and said the singer “is dead by accident.” It was only a hoax according to CNN, who reported the singer’s representative to state that the popstar is “alive and well.” Sony Music Global posted two tweets shortly later to explain the account’s unusual activity. Bob Dylan’s account also appeared to have been accessed by the same hacking group, OurMine. It also had to distance itself from the previous posts.
